DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=””]Join representatives of Coleman Highlands and other area neighborhoods\, as well as inidviduals involved with Midtown area planning\, at 9:30am at Westport-Roanoke Community Center for a discussion about safety issues on Southwest Trafficway. Coffee and donuts will be available. \nConfirmed attendees/participants:\nRepresentatives from the Coleman Highlands Neighborhood Association\nCouncilman Crispin Rae (and he is hoping to also get someone from Public Works to attend)\nRepresentatives from Westside Central\nRepresentatives from Sacred Heart\nRepresentatives from Reconnecting the Westside\n\nRoanoke and Valentine Neighborhood Associations have also been notified so hopefully we will have a good turnout!\nPrepare for the meeting:\nIn advance of this discussion\, feel free to read some of the following articles and discussions and visit the websites of the below organizations involved in addressing road safety in the urban core. \n\nColeman Highlands resident George Baggett’s guest article in the Kansas City Star regarding the dangers of Southwest Trafficway: “Of Course Kansas City Drivers Are Bad.
