Penn Valley Park Trail Master Plan

The Parks & Recreation Department and Penn Valley Conservancy will be hosting their third and final community open house on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, from 5-7 p.m. at Just Off Broadway Theatre (3051 Central Street). Citizens are invited to review the proposed trail plan for the west portion of Penn Valley Park, which incorporates feedback from earlier outreach efforts and establishes enhanced access and connections between the lake area, The Scout overlook, and Firefighters Memorial. The trail plan also examines opportunities for turf conversion to native prairie and improved bike/pedestrian movement.
