4th of July Parade & Picnic Details!

We’ll start gathering for the parade at 10:30AM at the North end of Coleman Road.  Come decked out in your best red, white & blues and march, ride, run, trot, or crawl through the neighborhood celebrating the 241st birthday of our nation!

The neighborhood is supplying grilled goodies, water & lemonade, so please bring a side or a dessert.  There will be inflatables for the kids and we should have a visit from the ever-ready, ever-friendly KC firefighters.

Join the parade or grab a comfy spot as a spectator on the parade route and join the festivities on 33rd Terrace when the parade ends.

2016 Annual Neighborhood Picnic MOVED to 9/24

Hey neighbors!  It’s that time of year when we gather in the cooler weather, catch up with each other, welcome new neighbors and ENJOY everything we love about our neighborhood.

Repeating last year’s great picnic, we will be gathering on 32nd Street to enjoy food, drink, music and much merriment!  There will also be inflatables for the kids (one for kiddos less than 6 and an obstacle course for the older kiddos).

The main course is being fabulously, and generously, prepared by our very own neighbor and restaurateur, Ted Habiger of Room 39 and Brewery Emperial fame.  Drinks will be provided, but please bring a side.

Annual Picnic Timeline

3PM – show up early to help set up chairs and tables (also, inflatables will be up and running!)

5PM – Dino O’Dell will play for the kids (and young at heart!)

6PM – Dinner is served (bring a side!)

7PM – The Promise Makers – once again bringing you the very best of your smooth rock favorites

Bring your appetite, your dancing shoes and a firm “howdy do” to have fun, kick back and get to know your neighbors better!
