Annual Meeting

This year’s annual meeting will be Saturday morning, November 7th at 9AM in the Westport-Roanoke Community Center gymnasium.
The neighborhood association will be hosting 2 guest speakers about neighborhood safety and nearby midtown developments.

Officer Andy Hamil, Central Patrol Division Community Interaction Officer. Officer Hamil will be speaking about safety concerns and the best ways to ensure community patrolling (spoiler alert: report all crime to the police by calling 911 – they won’t know about it unless we report it and if we aren’t willing to report it, they know we wouldn’t put forth the effort to support prosecution if suspects are caught).

Dennis Bradley, Principal with b+a architecture. Mr. Bradley is the principal architect of the proposed MGE redevelopment on Broadway (34th-35th) called the Midtown Plaza. He will be conducting an informational presentation on the proposed development, which centers upon upscale, high-density housing. Board presentation on summary of annual activities and finances. We’re also looking for new board members to join our monthly discussions and help support the many things that make the neighborhood great!
